Moving Forward on Tax Reform in Ontario
February 09, 2009

You may not realize it yet, but with the start of the New Year, you are most likely paying less income tax!

On January 1, 2010, our government took the first steps in implementing our comprehensive tax plan. Under the new tax system, 93% of Ontario taxpayers have received a personal income tax reduction. And this is only the beginning.

This income tax cut will result in savings for Ontario families, while our comprehensive tax plan will attract more investment and create 600,000 jobs over the next ten years, building a stronger future for our children.
