Stephen Mazurek nominated as Liberal candidate in Leeds-Grenville

February 6th – Stephen Mazurek – small business owner and long-time volunteer – has been nominated as the Liberal candidate in the provincial riding of Leeds-Grenville. The by-election was called earlier this week for Thursday, March 4th.

“I have spent my entire life working and volunteering to make our community a better place,” said Mazurek. “I am running to be the MPP for Leeds-Grenville because I believe I can be a strong voice, within government, to help our local communities become stronger, more vibrant places to live.”

A life-long resident of the riding, Stephen Mazurek is the co-owner of Tait’s Bakery and Tait’s Uptown. He has been actively involved with a number of local organizations, including the Lung Association, Kidney Foundation, Cancer Society, Harvest Sharing Food Bank, Interval House, YMCA, and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. He has also served on the executive of the Brockville Downtown Business Association and the Brockville Chamber of Commerce.

Stephen is married to Shereen. They have three children, Matthew, Marisha and Brodie.
