The Ontario Liberal Party is excited to announce that we will be holding our Annual General Meeting Friday, February 2 to Sunday, February 4, 2018 in Toronto!

At the AGM, we'll build crucial momentum heading into the 2018 campaign through training workshops, policy discussions, and developing our plan to build a fairer Ontario.

You won't want to miss this fantastic opportunity to reconnect with other supporters from across the province as we build on the work of Premier Kathleen Wynne and our entire Ontario Liberal team to deliver opportunity and fairness for the people of Ontario.

How to Attend the 2018 AGM

Step 1 - Become a Delegate or Alternate

The AGM will offer hours of great sessions for attendees and also offers some important opportunities for participating in decisions we make together as a party.

There are two ways to attend and participate - by applying to attend the AGM as a delegate or alternate through your local riding association Delegate Election Meeting (DEM). A select few members already holding specific positions can simply attend as ex-officio delegates (riding presidents are one example). In all cases your party membership must be in good standing.

Be sure to check our events page regularly for updates on upcoming local DEMs to find the one in your riding.

Each DEM will allow for the selection of 15 delegates to the AGM, with at least 3 delegates being 25 years old or under, and a minimum of 3 men and 3 women over 25.

Once you confirm your delegate status, you'll be eligible to vote on important governance decisions at the AGM such as who will serve on the next Ontario Liberal Party Executive Council and constitutional amendments. If you are not elected as a delegate you can become an alternate. Alternates can take the place of a delegate and be eligible to vote if an elected delegate does not complete their registration in time. To share your intent to stand as a delegate to the AGM, please complete the Intent to Stand form.

Step 2 - Register for the Convention

Ex-officio delegates, elected delegates and alternates can register to attend the AGM. Purchasing early is crucial in order to take advantage of the early bird registration rate. 2018 AGM Rates are as follows:
